Job Description:
The Portfolio Review Services (PRS) team aims to build a strong, centralized ecosystem to support the Ultra High Net Worth (UNHW) and High Net Worth (HNW) needs of the client. This includes an understanding of analytical tools, research capabilities, portfolio management and analysis, and delivery of best-in-class guidance towards investment solutions and implementation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Possess ability and willingness to learn advanced portfolio modeling concepts and research guidance framework from Wells Fargo Investment Institute (WFII), as well as various investment solutions (equities, fixed income, Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs),
- Advisory programs, Active/Passive strategies, and more.
- Support various exercises in order to enhance efficiencies in making portfolio decisions
- Passionate about portfolio management, research, and analysis and willing to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Performs research and analysis under the guidance of senior analysts in order to assist in making portfolio recommendations within strategy and fundamental framework.
- Bring advanced knowledge of Excel to the team to search out operational inefficiencies with a mind toward streamlining analytical tools
- Collaborate and coordinate with team members and stakeholders to maintain commitment to duties
- Be a team player and proactively help out when/where needed
- Deconstructing current and prospective client portfolios and communicating recommendations to FA/IS in a clear, concise, and professional-looking presentation
- Be accountable for bringing new and fresh ideas to the team on how to perform even better
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with data analysis tools such as
- R, Matlab, or programming in Python, VBA, or SQL is beneficial
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Driven, confident, organized and an accomplished problem solver
- CFA Charter or progress towards CFA Charter
- 6+ years of financial services experience
- Series 7 and 66 licenses or ability to obtain those licenses
- 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business development or financial services consulting
- Knowledge of asset allocation and Modern Portfolio Theory
- Experience with data mining, analysis, and investment research
