Job Description:
The Corporate Audit Services Staff Auditor is primarily responsible for completing audit engagement assignments under the supervision from the audit team management.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Staff Auditor is expected, with support from others, to identify controls, assess processes, perform control testing, and document work performed in conformance with internal audit policies and procedures.
- Staff Auditors will perform basic to complex tasks on audits that evaluate risks and controls over the various Wealth Management and Investment Services business units and ensure compliance with the policies, procedures and standards.
Job Requirements:
- Two to three years of applicable experience
- Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills.
- Preferred financial services industry knowledge with focus on Asset Management, Wealth
- Management, Fiduciary, Trust, Investment Management, Retirement Plan Servicing,
- Custody Services, Financial Markets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards and the common definition of internal controls.
- Pursing CIA, CPA, CFIRS or other relevant professional designation or advanced degree.
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including
- Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
