Job Description:
Responsible for the delivery of specific projects within the insight work plan for Beauty and Personal Care categories in Mashreq and Maghreb: Hair, Skin Cleansing, Oral, Deos and Skin care. This is a pivotal and core connecting role; not only partnering the Country Cluster Brand Team (CCBT) and related Cluster Leadership Teams but also connecting BPC CMI with Category / Brand and with Country / Customer Development teams to guide CCBT decision making
Job Responsibilities:
- Connect and manages key business partners: Nielsen, Kantar and other key agencies and leads relationship with CMI CoEs and People Data Center
- Support the cluster lead in business partnering with BPC leaders (VP, Brand Directors and Brand Managers) in the region
- Monitoring, analyses and course correction of innovation and communication projects
- Manages country CMI budgets
- Manages day-to-day operations for the marketing research work for BPC category in the business units.
- Ensures that market/consumer knowledge is shared, understood and acted upon within the team
- Provide a robust performance tracking tool, and analysis the regional category performance and present findings in key monthly / quarterly forums. The candidate is expected to classify and develop research projects based on Unilever guidelines. He / she will create brief and briefs MR agencies/ Center of Excellence who will run the project, he/she will ensure to provide the category expertise and input. BPC CMI is expected to debrief of results to business partners to drive insights into action.
- Leads category, brand, market reviews to drive short term and long opportunities for the BPC business
- Leads Innovation projects which is are initiatives on Local Jewels (led by CCBT)
Job Requirements:
- Can create research programmes for the platform needs and manage researches independently
- Personal Care related experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of key measurement tools: Nielsen Retail data, Household Panel data, Millward Brown Tracking data
- Working knowledge in standard qualitative and quantitative methodologies (Skills on the level identified below)
