The Company is currently searching for an experienced tax professional to fill the Senior Tax Analyst position in our Bell Tax Team. This role represents a great opportunity to become a member of a dynamic tax department comprised of highly skilled and motivated tax professionals committed to providing team members with challenging and diverse tax work experience. This position reports to the Sr. Tax Manager – Bell as a member of the Corporate Tax Team and involves preparation of Company’s tax filing requirements related to federal and state tax returns, assistance with financial statement reporting for income taxes (ASC 740), US and Non-US governmental tax audit support for the Company as needed, as well as tax research and special project work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify process improvements, implement changes and ensure best practices
- Responsible for coordination with Non-US affiliates to gather necessary data for return preparation, forecasting, and ASC 740 reporting
- Preparation and review of complex US Federal and State income tax returns
- Preparation and review of quarterly tax provision inputs including review of SOX compliance internal controls adherence
- Assist in the preparation of the research & development tax credit and supporting documentation
- Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees
- Responsible for supporting US and Non-US governmental tax audits, as needed
- Work with departments across the Bell business unit (e.g. accounting, treasury, legal, and Non-US offices) to gather documentation/information needed
Job Requirements:
- BS in Accounting
- Working knowledge of research tools
- Proficient communication skills as evidenced by clear, effective communication and taking responsibility for understanding others
- Demonstrated public accounting or corporate tax environment experience with Federal & State corporate tax law matters. Prior public accounting experience helpful.
- Proficient analytical skills and problem solving
- Proficient organizational skills & attention to detail
