Job Description:

Join RBC Global Asset Management’s US Fixed Income team as an Analyst focused on securitized markets. Utilize security analysis and maintain and communicate opinions to build portfolios with optimized and resilient return profiles. Collaborate with a nimble, growing, research oriented team and with a focus on delivering a best-in-class investing experience to clients. Explore the intersection of impact investing and securitized markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain opinions of issuers, sectors and structures
• Monitor condition of holdings (credit, levels, liquidity, etc.)
• Research and maintain opinions on the US ABS market and issuers
• Collaborate with ABS Trader on market surveillance and priorities
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers in assuring opinions are properly expressed in portfolios
• Assist in development of tools to enhance the research process with data-driven research in mind

Job Requirements:

• Understanding of fixed income markets
• Experience in data science and/or
• Bachelor’s degree
• Interest in, or progress toward, becoming a CFA Charterholder
• Inherently curious
• Ability to communicate complicated material in a concise fashion
• Experience in ABS research and/or trading or related sectors
