Job Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a partner to business leaders in the planning, analysis and ongoing measurement of key strategic priorities – financial and non-financial objectives and results. Strategic influencer and vital business partner for both finance and cross-functional leadership by developing strong plans and drive financial rigor to achieve, and be accountable for, financial results and value creation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in various business initiatives and projects, providing appropriate financial perspective and recommendations. Develop working knowledge of product level economics and firm profitability.
  • Provide expert consultative guidance for initiating strategic long-range goals and objectives.
  • Offer direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
  • Translate and summarize complex analysis into understandable, compelling analysis and recommendations that directly drive effective business strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver executive level presentations regarding data analysis and financial projections.
  • Take initiatives and drive each project to completion with minimal guidance while effectively managing multiple projects at a time.
  • Create complex financial models to provide insightful analysis for enhanced decision-making capabilities and new perspectives to the business.
  • Address data and KPI questions from leadership including discovery of the topic, researching the topic, and providing a response.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently, to deliver against key business initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis on ad-hoc requests related to product and service pricing, business performance and strategic initiatives by working with subject matter experts and senior managers.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Tableau and Alteryx
  • 6-8 years financial analysis experience
  • Strong database and spreadsheet skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or management information systems
  • Solid analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills with experience in process improvement
  • Experience with statistical programming (SAS, R, Python, SQL etc.) & data visualization software in a data-rich environment.
  • CFA
  • MBA
  • Capacity to present/communicate complex, technical materials in a way that facilitates decision making and drives outcomes; ability to communicate to less technical partners.
