Job Description:
We are looking for graphics a shader compiler software engineer to work on Nintendo’s shader tools for Nintendo gaming platforms. Nintendo Technology Development, Inc. is a technology research and development subsidiary responsible for hardware design and driver development for Nintendo gaming systems.
Job Responsibilities:
This engineer will be responsible for working with internal teams and vendors on critical features, performance tuning and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will be a high-energy problem-solver with a passion for excellence and a proven track record. We are looking for people who are excellent team players, and who work well on individual assignments.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++
- BS is required. MS is preferred.
- Excellent software design, problem solving and debugging skills
- Knowledge of GPU hardware and software architecture
- This is not a remote opportunity and you will be required to work onsite in Redmond, WA
Qualification & Experience:
- LLVM experience is desired
- Advanced GLSL and/or HLSL programming expertise required
- Experience with parallel and asynchronous processing
- Experience with open-source shader compiler solutions such as glslang or DXC is plus
- SPIR-V experience is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in systems and graphics development.
