Job Description:

Reporting to a Recruitment Manager, the Recruiter is responsible for the full life cycle recruitment of exempt professional and managerial positions within Regional Bank. This role must successfully lead recruitment searches across a number of business lines including Community Banking, Wealth Management, Consumer Lending, Risk & Control, Enterprise Marketing & Client Experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend career fairs and other networking events as a representative of the Bank and TAS.
• Obtain all critical information on candidates; experience, salary, motivations and fit for the position. Conduct reference checks if applicable for the role.
• Effectively phone screen or interview all relevant applicants, and make recommendations to hiring managers for interview selection. Position and effectively articulate the UB value proposition.
• Work with Recruitment Coordinator on background checks and all necessary compliance.
• Demonstrate a general understanding of employment laws and regulations.
• Partner with Recruitment Manager and Compensation to discuss offer parameters; extend and negotiate all offers.
• Manage the closing of the position all the way through the on-boarding of successful candidates.
• Oversee/schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and interview teams. Gather interview feedback from candidates and interview team. Determine with hiring managers next steps in the process.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a team player who values accountability, integrity, quality, and has a strong sense of urgency.
• Must have creative sourcing, cold calling, and networking techniques.
• The successful candidate will typically have a Bachelor’s degree, and 6+ years of recruiting/sourcing experience in financial services/banking.
• Ability to manage competing demands, prioritize and successfully meet client needs.
• Proven track record of success within a recruitment organization.
• Flexible nature and ability to meet changing demands in a dynamic work environment.
• Proven strength in the management and development of relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Strong business acumen.
