Job Description:

This Project Manager – Assistant Vice President role will be responsible for portions of managing, directing, planning, developing and implementing projects and processes related to Financial Crimes. Reporting to the head of the Center of Excellence – Program Management Office (PMO), this role will interface with teams throughout the Center of Excellence (CoE), Americas and Global counterparts. This role will also be instrumental in identifying process improvement opportunities, assisting with issues management and exam related projects. This role is expected to spearhead various special projects within the CoE.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain deliverables and documentation to streamline communications, develop structure and escalation paths.
  • Assist with issues management including tracking open issues to remediation and regulatory exams
  • Define and develop the overall plans to meet project goals and objectives utilizing a wide range of technical and business resources.
  • Provide feedback for process improvement, lessons learned, program enhancements, and strategic alignment with business or other programs.
  • Act as an advocate on behalf of various teams within financial crimes
  • Provide project management and comprehensive analysis of complex/critical enterprise projects
  • Ensure that best practices are being discussed, documented and followed in the build out of projects and programs that impact financial crimes.
  • Develop effective and clear presentations for various audiences including executive management.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in both waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Experience managing regulators, auditors or experience in exam and issues management.
  • Strong presentation capabilities and ability to mobilize teams in a cross functional organization
  • PMP/CAPM certified preferable
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and deliver results
  • Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking skills
  • 5+ years as a project manager delivering large scale, complex IT projects
  • Bachelor’s degree
