Job Description:

The Mattel Ecommerce team is building global, best-in-class digital destinations for Mattel brands that connect with and inspire our consumers, showcase the full value of our IP, and deliver results to the company. The direct-to-consumer business has an ambitious growth agenda and is on the journey to scaling into a global organization. Our digital marketing team is looking to add a Manager, Digital Marketing to the team to further consumer acquisition and conversion.

The Manager, Digital Marketing will be responsible for creating and optimizing performance marketing campaigns against key business objectives that meet or exceed ROI targets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish performance marketing best practices for global use
• As applicable, manage performance marketing agency
• Collaborate with the CRM Manager on Ecommerce traffic projections and plan tactics across Paid, Owned and Earned to support those projections
• Build testing strategies across and within performance marketing channels
• Share results and insights via regular reporting
• Define performance marketing campaigns, including audience, content/message, timing, creative and integration with broader Ecommerce marketing campaigns
• Partner with the Global Media team on best practices as needed
• Monitor SEO/SEM data and act on opportunities to improve traffic-driving impact
• Manage to performance marketing budget

Job Requirements:

• Strong presentation skills to build out and share strategies to leadership team and partners
• Proven team player
• Ability to build strong and collaborative cross-functional relationships
• 8+ years’ work experience in ecommerce, digital marketing or related function
• Prior experience within direct to consumer retail or multi-brand, particularly in an ecommerce or multi-channel role
• Data driven with a focus on measurement and optimization, including hands-on analytic prowess with reporting and analysis tools
