Job Description:
We are looking for a Manager Data Science & Analytics. A successful candidate will lead Media Mix modeling projects and other advanced analytical projects geared towards quantifying the impact of Digital, Social media and Content impact on sales. This person will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure end-to-end execution of analytical projects including but not limited to selection of statistical or econometric algorithms, defining scope, data acquisition & management, leading model development, interpreting results and providing actionable recommendations to optimize marketing ROIs.
Data Science & Analytics team focuses on providing data driven actionable insights and analytical thought leadership to address high-impact business questions and identify whitespace opportunities for incremental growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive data collection, validation, statistical model development, interpreting outputs and translating into meaningful insights, develop solution deck with findings, insights and actionable recommendations
- Conduct post model analysis to develop optimization and simulation scenarios for optimal allocation of marketing investments across brand portfolio
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization including Media, Digital and Global Brand teams and external analytic vendors to ensure seamless execution
- Design analytical framework and define best practices for modeling methodologies to provide data-driven analytical solutions addressing business questions
- Craft insightful presentations with compelling storyline, actionable insights and effectively communicate complex statistical output in layman’s terms
- Leverage various statistical algorithms such as multivariate regression, hierarchical Bayesian modeling, time-series forecasting, A/B testing, random forest, structural equation modeling, neural networks etc. as per need to address a wide array of business problems
Job Requirements:
- Able to partner with key cross-functional areas and work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of at-least one analytical tool R/SAS/SQL/Python
- 8+ years of experience in quantitative marketing analytics such as media mix modeling, digital and social analytics, price promotions and forecasting
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and delivering media mix modeling solutions
- Analytical thinker with problem solving skills and able to explain complex statistical analysis in simple terms
- Master’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, Data Science or Operations Research is required
