Job Description:
As the Business Systems Analyst, you will create and share the product vision, manage product backlog to achieve goals and maximize work delivered by the agile pod. This role will consult with the Integration Lead for key decision making, resolving impediments and backlog alignment with the overall strategy. As the voice of the customer, this role will analyze and deliver on more complex Business System Analysis assignments and projects. They will act as a resource to applicable internal/external stakeholders. They will also consult and collaborate with business stakeholders to define and validate more complex information technology solutions that meet the needs, goals and objectives for the team.
This position is being created to support and maintain integration platforms that enable strategic partners to streamline processes from submission to policy placement. This position will partner with external vendors, strategic partners, internal business, and technical teams to drive delivery of platform changes. This position will be accountable to continue to drive the API integration strategy and electronic capability adoption. Support will be needed for maintenance to the process that includes but is not limited to, product updates, questionnaire updates and form updates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides more complex technical research and analysis to support business operations needs and presents findings to management or project leader.
- Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- May develop more complex test plans and perform testing as needed.
- Provides a more complex understanding the business usage of information technology (IT) and helping technology add value to the business.
- May update tables as needed.
- Using structured requirements process, clearly articulates, documents and validates more complex technical requirements.
- Serves as a mentor and shares knowledge with junior team members.
Job Requirements:
- 3 – 5+ Years of experience in business systems analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- 0 – 1+ Years Develop and maintain data models and associated metadata to be forward engineered on the respective database platform.
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- 0 – 1+ Years Review and analyze multiple complex data sources and document data elements, data flow, relationships, and dependencies.
