Job Description:

Reporting to the Email Creative Lead, the Email Designer will be a key player in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Team. Developing and maintaining new and existing email creatives and templates is a large part of the role, but a great imagination is just as important, as we’re always looking for new ways to keep our customers inspired and engaged.

Job Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will work from weekly schedules to code and build HTML email templates. You’ll follow industry best practice guidelines and make sure all templates and designs are responsive and maximised for mobile platforms. And you’ll test emails across a range of devices to check all designs are effective, on brand and consistent.
• You’ll manage the checking and approval of emails with key stakeholders too – providing email content that’s accurate and relevant. You’ll oversee the scheduling and sending of emails through Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ email service provider. And you’ll always be on the lookout for ways to improve our email templates and increase open and click through rates.

Job Requirements:

• The successful candidate will have proven email development experience including producing responsive email designs, with a strong technical background and excellent HTML and CSS skills. You’ll need experience with Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator, be eager to learn and develop new skills, and have heaps of creative flair. The Email Team work in a fast-paced environment, so you’ll need to be calm under pressure, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to deliver high quality work to tight timescales. Attention to detail is key to the success of this role.
