Imperial Irrigation District Jobs – Lineman, Apprentice

Job Responsibilities:

• Under direct supervision, performs a variety of skilled line and power work connected with the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical transmission, distribution lines, and performs work on energized circuits ranging from low to high voltage lines.

Job Requirements:

• An official current driving record (obtained within the last six months) from your local State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or from official DMV website must accompany job application (no third party records accepted).
• High school equivalency with supplemental college or technical courses in electricity and mathematics, and one year experience in electrical construction preferred.
• A valid Class “A” driver’s license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
