Daltile Jobs – Reach Truck Operator

Job Description:

Daltile is a leading manufacturer and distributor of tile products nationwide, and currently, we are looking to expand our team here at our Sunnyvale distribution Center. We are looking for candidates who are committed to joining a great team environment while keeping safety in the workplace as our top priority.

This candidate will be able to operate various powered industrial equipment to load and unload finished products in the shipping and receiving process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures product is placed into accurate location.
• Opens crates and inspects product.
• Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within the warehouse once received.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Conveys picked orders to pack stations or shipping areas.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking..
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location.
• Applies labels to products according to establishing procedures.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Good listening skills.
• Good record-keeping skills.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, Reach truck, and OP experience.
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
