Job Description:

As a Butler Apprentice you will accommodate a unique clientele, providing unconventional and dynamic service that is sure to empower guests to create their own adventures in our enchanting urban playground.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive company vehicles to assist with guest requests.
• Break down all departmental deliveries and deliver to appropriate pantries and/or storage
• Responsible for delivery and retrieval of china, glass and silver to and from stewarding areas
• Responsible for daily upkeep and stocking of Butler pantries.
• Ensure pantries and storage areas are maintained to health department standards.
• Assist the Butler in retrieving food, beverage and/or any supplies from Room Service, Restaurants and/or any other disclosed location.
• Maintain cleanliness of work place and maintain compliance with local fire and health regulations.
• Assist in setting up, maintaining and breaking down of events.
• Maintain an adequate par stock of food and beverage items necessary to stock the pantries to meet the needs of guests.
• Polish and wash china, glass and silver

Job Requirements:

• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Understanding of food and beverage including room service, wine and spirits.
• Fluency in another language.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Polished appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Qualification & Experience:

• At least one year previous gourmet food and beverage experience.
• Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
• Basic skills and experience with POS systems.
• Previous experience as a Butler in a similar environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
