Citigroup Internship – Sr AI/ML Developer

Job Description:

Risk & Control technology within GFT is responsible for implementation of strategic solutions to manage compliance risk for Laws, Rules and Regulations (LRR), Policies, Assessments, risk assurance and reporting. There are many initiatives and journeys being started with objective to build target state solution through agile development process with multi-year deliverables and committed regulatory milestones. As part of these journeys, we are also responsible for working with various groups and teams from business systems, central data team and CDO to acquire data from business systems, perform data transformation and aggregation, and DQ validation of critical data elements (CDEs).

Job Responsibilities:

• Acts as SME and a leader to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Ability to effectively influence and socialize potential proposals and solutions with senior management and business stakeholders and share the same with members of development.
• Responsible for overall deliverables by managing business expectations with effective Program and project management, team management with onsite and offshore resource strategy and working closely with stakeholders from interdependent systems, infrastructure, common services team.
• Ability to co-ordinate teams across multiple locations and countries and resolve potential conflicts, and other competing priorities within the teams
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Responsible for owning and managing the entire development process starting with analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support
• Appetite to learn and adopt new technologies, and ready to absorb rapid changes with changing business processes and requirements.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement

Job Requirements:

• NLP processing using BERT, Word Embedding, NLTK, Topic Modelling, Similarity, etc..
• NLG experience is a double plus
• Knowledge in Machine learning using Neural Networks, Statistical Models, etc.
• 6-8 years of experience in enterprise development
• Conceptual understanding of models/algorithms
• Orientation towards Disciplined development processes
• Experience with Knowledge Graph for text extraction and text processing
• Hands on development experience using Python and libraries like sklearn, Keras.
• Strong design & execution bend of mind
• 4-6 years of experience in enterprise AI/ML development
• Additional experience in tesseract, opencv, gensim, imagemagick, pdfminer is a plus.
• Passion for technology and self- starter
