Job Description:
The incumbent serves as an expert advisor to senior management fiscal and budgetary planning, processes and procedures relating to fiscal and business issues, including budget and fiscal planning, program development, and procurement activities. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, some CDC employees have been authorized to work virtually. However, when CDC is cleared to return back to work, you will be required to report to the location identified in the vacancy announcement for which you applied.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to leadership on the effective strategic planning and fiscal planning support for affected program.
- Oversee the development, implementation and administration of contracts, grants, cooperative agreements and intra-agency/inter-agency agreements in support of the Office’s mission.
- Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the OADC in the oversight and administration of external fiscal awards, overseeing the most complex and controversial actions, and providing technical guidance to other OADC employees functioning as COR’s.
- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of tracking systems for contracts, grants and cooperative agreements.
- Lead and guide the development of intermediate and long-range projections of requirements for goods and services to support Center operations.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate individual long-and short-term plans for their impact and contribution to OADC and CDC’s long-range plans.
