Job Description:
A senior level role with local responsibility for service directors, custody client service and change management teams. The role will have a reporting line into the EMEA Client Service Delivery Head and will be a key member of the local AS management team. The role holder must demonstrate strong team management and development skills. Ensure robust performance management and development of team. The role holder must provide strategic guidance on internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience. Uses knowledge of client services best practices and BNY Mellon client needs to lead the team’s development of process improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Involved in the strategic direction of Client Service Delivery for AS contributing to global growth of the AS business.
- Own the local strategy for the team and all related client service themes and observations.
- May be required to represent Regional Head at Senior Management meetings
- Contribute to the effective governance of the site.
- Play an active role in local committees and boards, offering constructive challenge and helping to support the relevant Committee/Board fulfil its role and responsibilities.
- Interactions with local regulatory bodies and senior representation at board meetings
- Establish and implement a local regulatory structure that provide an appropriate AS local infrastructure for Client Service Delivery.
- Collaborate with other leaders in AS to co-ordinate Client Service Delivery models to ensure that the client and regulatory infrastructure is presented with seamless service delivery
- Overall responsibility for local Client Service Delivery teams (service directors, custody client service and change management)
- Comply with all BNY Mellon corporate policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct, HR policies and procedures, applicable to BNY Mellon.
- Take a lead on local initiatives and client issues
Job Requirements:
- 12-15 years of total work experience preferred
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred
