Job Description:

The Finance Workbench London based feature team working closely with an India based feature team and the FICC Tech based RRA team, as well as GBAM Finance stakeholders & users globally. The team is part of the Accounting and Product Control team within Business Finance Office technology which has team-mates in London (MLFC, Bromley and Camberley), India and Singapore. Whilst the Finance Redesign (FRD) program is well established having rolled out to three LOBs, with the remainder of FICC in the pipeline, we are starting to look at Sub Ledger remediation which will provide opportunities in 2025 and beyond.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to application design, regression test automation and other efficiency initiatives, as well as actively participating in all agile ceremonies
• Deliver RESTful services in Quartz Python and user interface components in React for stories prioritized by Product Owner
• Work closely with Product Owner and business analysts to deliver stories and gain sign-off
• Work collaboratively with development teams in FICC Technology to deliver solutions end to end to meet business requirements

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Daily PNL Production process within a Global Markets Finance function.
• React/Javascript development experience.
• Appreciation of the importance of the whole project-lifecycle and business delivery.
• Knowledge of Bank technologies (Quartz/RemoteRisk/RRA/Zinc).
• Driven to deliver sustainable and supportable outcomes to the business.
• Application Management experience.
• Investment banking experience, with front or middle office team experience advantageous.
• Quartz Python development experience.
• Good understanding of Agile and Lean software development practices and associated tools.
• Appreciation of Risk Awareness (Inc. Operational, Compliance, Business & Reputational)
• Ability to drive resolution of complex issues across multiple delivery teams.
