Vimeo Remote Jobs – Video Production Lead

Job Description:

You will be responsible for all aspects of video, digital, and asset production across all marketing channels, including performance, brand, product, branded content, template studio, and live virtual events. As a home for world-class filmmakers, iconic global brands and content creators, as such, Vimeo’s own marketing and product videos need to be right up there, while keeping things nimble and agile. You would have worked at an in-house global brand or production house/agency side, or all of the above.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review of creative work during development for feasibility, budget, and look for ways to maximize the level of creative execution.
• Ensure that creative briefs and schedules take into account production needs before kicking off with creatives.
• Oversee, and manage production workflow, budgets and output, develop new strategies and workflows to maximise efficiency
• Work with Vimeo’s internal legal team. Liaise with third parties on contracts, fees, T&Cs etc including talent, post/kit houses, production teams and other suppliers, and develop partnerships where appropriate
• Produce projects with multiple types of deliverables and of various complexity, size, and budget working closely with the marketing and creative teams
• Engage and manage any 3rd party vendors and/or production companies.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to confidently lead production on projects, ask questions others may not be thinking about and make decisions
• Relevant knowledge of web, mobile and software technologies
• Knowledge of integrated production best practices across all mediums.

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience working at a tech/SaaS business
• 6+ years integrated production experience at an agency or in-house.
• Experience with financial and legal management of projects
• Excellent creative problem-solving skills
