Job Description:

SAP North America Regional COE are the evangelists driving both internal and customer mindshare, establishing the vision and business value of solutions for the Intelligent Enterprise. This is provided via thought leadership, expertise, and content that drives pipeline generation and opportunity maturation to exceed North America revenue goals for defined solutions areas. These solutions cover the business needs of Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) and other senior procurement executives at our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Executive summary “point of view” documents that align solution benefits to customer strategic goals as well as serve to illustrate potential ROI with an investment in SAP Office of the CPO solutions
  • Present SAP Office of the CPO and SAP Intelligent Spend Management solution capabilities, value proposition, key differentiators at senior executive levels and large audiences
  • Work in conjunction with regional / MU sales organizations, as well as partners, solution management, value engineering, presales, consulting, services and support to support lighthouse customer success cases
  • Work in conjunction with the regional sales team (both Industry Account Executives & LOB Account Executives focused in ISM solutions) and the broader VAT and Industry Advisory team to execute demand generation programs to maintain a rolling 4Q, 4x pipeline for cloud, 3x pipeline for on-premise.
  • Support sales opportunities that require senior executive engagement to support the sales cycle
  • Internal enablement to support the sales teams understanding of how SAP Office of the CPO solutions and SAP ISM support the Intelligent Enterprise and how those solutions support both Procurement and the Digital Transformation
  • Become part of a global network of COEs, building and sharing knowledge on successful demand generation, deal execution best practices, customer success stories and potential product and market evolutions
  • Engage directly with senior executives within SAP Strategic customer program, Key and Large Enterprise accounts to drive sales of SAP’s Office of the CPO and Intelligent Spend Management solutions
  • Drive in-region market awareness of SAP Office of the CPO solutions to support all lines of businesses including activities such as presentations at events, engagement with partners, thought leadership activities (blogs, white papers etc.)
  • Engage with key ecosystem partners (Accenture, Deloitte, E&Y, PwC, IBM, etc.) to educate their consultants on SAP Office of the CPO solutions and SAP Intelligent Spend Management capabilities and engage them into marketing campaigns and sales cycles

Job Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success
  • Viewed as solutions expert across SAP and / or partner communities and capable of leveraging an extensive network on behalf of SAP resulting in pipeline and revenue growth
  • Fluency in English, any other language an asset
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Understanding of different deployment methodologies including cloud and on-premise
  • Proficiency of the SAP Intelligent Spend solution portfolio

Qualification & Experience:

  • Professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise in SAP Office of the CPO solutions, SAP Intelligent Spend Management, SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong customer facing experience at executive levels
  • MBA or equivalent degree from accredited university preferred
  • 7+ years of prior relevant solutions experience in sales, sales related roles, presales or consulting or working directly at a customer or partner and supporting SAP environments, especially with solving complex procurement requirements
