Job Description:
Provides administrative support specifically related to purchasing function activities. Maintains files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation. Maintains information on computer systems. Assists in expediting orders. May assist buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates. May develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items. Prepares standard requests for quotation. Assignments may require initiative regarding pricing revisions, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date revisions and invoice discrepancies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize MRO Inventory Management System (LLUMIN), SAP Ordering System, Microsoft Office Applications, and other plant specific applications.
- Work with PM work order management to improve efficiencies in the Maintenance Department.
- Routinely work with equipment vendors to procure parts.
- Work with corporate purchasing team to procure P.O.s in a timely manner.
- Order and track parts and supplies.
- Understand shipping options for incoming product.
- Provide ordering support for ME Tech Group in EA and FA.
- Conduct inventory counts of repair parts and supplies.
- Work to expedite orders as required.
- Plant sourcing for MRO.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor Degree
- Experience with SAP system
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of applicable experience
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
- Knowledge of Inventory Control Systems
- Knowledge of work order system (LLUMIN preferred)
