Job Responsibilities:

• Exercise cross-skilling after appropriate training as Qantas requires.
• Be a team leader on defined projects
• Permanently supervise staff carrying out all required administrative functions, performance reviews and demonstrate strong leadership abilities
• Apply creativity and originality toward the solution of complex projects;
• Train and develop staff and check the accuracy and standard of their work
• Undertake and coordinate highly complex engineering support work which involves a multiple of technical, costing, and planning issues with responsibility for establishing standards, direction, and ensuring technical/cost-effective performance
• Accomplishing the more highly complex functions of planning, forecasting, estimating, measuring, and scheduling of work programs
• Maintain an awareness of corporate and divisional strategies and initiate action plans consistent with these strategies

Job Requirements:

• Aircraft trade Certificate IV or equivalent qualification
• Good Verbal and written communication skills
• Diligent and reliable with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work to process deadlines and plan in a methodical manner
• Base Maintenance work experience would be advantages
• Strong computer literacy skills including Mx, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
