Job Responsibilities: Exercise cross-skilling after appropriate training as Qantas requires. Be a team leader on defined projects Permanently supervise staff carrying out all required administrative functions, performance reviews and demonstrate strong leadership abilities Apply creativity and originality toward the solution of complex projects; Train and develop staff and check the accuracy and standard of their work Undertake and coordinate highly complex engineering support work which involves a multiple of technical, costing, and planning issues with responsibility for establishing standards, direction, and ensuring technical/cost-effective performance Accomplishing the more highly complex functions of planning, forecasting, estimating, measuring, and scheduling of work programs Maintain an awareness of corporate and divisional strategies and initiate action plans consistent with these strategies Job Requirements: Aircraft trade Certificate IV or equivalent qualification Good Verbal and written communication skills Diligent and reliable with a keen eye for detail Ability to work to process deadlines and plan in a methodical manner Base Maintenance work experience would be advantages Strong computer literacy skills including Mx, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
