As a Banking Market Manager within PNC’s Wealth Management organization, you may be based in Toledo, OH or the following MI markets: Troy, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes strategies to ensure that the goals and objectives of the geographic area can be met.
- Monitors adherence to AMG’s risk and compliance policies and processes for the assigned geographic area.
- Builds relationships and works closely with internal and external business leaders to facilitate integrated business development opportunities and solutions for clients.
- Manages assigned geographic area to ensure client satisfaction, retention and expansion of sales revenue.
- Leads growth of banking services within an assigned geographic area.
- Ensures the consistent execution of banking activities and achievement of goals by providing leadership and direction to banking professionals.
- Coordinates/conducts acquisition, performance management, mentoring and coaching reviews of banking professionals while attaining noteworthy customer experience results.
- Manages day-to-day sales process and financial performance-to-goal for the assigned geographic area.
- Serves as subject matter expert and demonstrates technical expertise in sophisticated/complex banking strategies.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions.
- Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Negotiate structures and closes customer sales.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
- Ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with customers in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years.
- Applies successful financial sale solutions to negotiation concepts and techniques
- At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
