Job Description:
The successful candidate will be required to maintain stability of all technology services and availability of all technology. This includes the PC end user environment as well as infrastructure services through the relevant London silos. Operationally, the person will need to provide end user support, liaise with global Infrastructure teams, participate in local/global IT initiatives and support IT related admin tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that Client requests are dealt with in a timely and professional fashion
- Incident and Problem management: Owner of user issues including prompt, accurate ticket documentation
- Assist global silo teams to maintain local infrastructure including checkouts after changes
- Ensure that recognized risks are flagged / key actions taken
- Identify chronic issues and remediate / escalate accordingly
- Assist software deployment cycles (testing, communication, deployment)
- Execute supervision routines for internal and outsourced services and action subsequent tasks
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Business Units to understand key BU applications and requirements.
- Setup and support of basic user desktop equipment including mobile devices
- Ensure that standards and procedures are followed
Job Requirements:
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts (i.e. Incident Management & Problem Management)
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Understanding of mobile device setups
- Advanced Microsoft platform skills
- Advanced network skills
- Understanding of Agile principals
- Advanced in Microsoft Office products
- Team player and a flexible and open-minded approach to work /
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English
