Job Description:
The Director of Product Management will leverage their expertise to solve market challenges facing our clients and partners, specifically as they relate to specialty pharmacy and enabling the pharmacist to work at the top of their license. Leveraging their experience and expertise, the Director of Product Management will lead the business in designing, developing, contracting, and implementing new solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Works with product marketing to create product presentations, marketing programs and other product related communications.
- Works with business analysts to create functional requirements throughout the project life cycle
- Works with the product owner on the prioritization of the backlog and development of a roadmap
- Updates and influences leadership as to the need and status of new product concepts
- Provides pre-sale support by way of presentations, value propositions, competitive analysis and positioning, for RelayHealth Sales Team.
- Assists with vendor / partner relationships.
- Works with business development and other product managers on new product concepts
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of various industry constituents such as pharmacy, pharma, payer and / or provider & health systems.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills necessary to uncover and define the true problem driving a business need
- Experience with specialty pharmacy operations, including pharmacy management systems and provider electronic healthcare record systems
- Experience supporting oncology, dermatology, rheumatology, and other specialty provider segments. Including provider medication administration and dispensing models
- Experience working with medical and pharmacy benefit solutions
- 10+ years of product management experience in a healthcare environment
- Pharmaceutical industry exposure/experience
- Ability to use data and metrics to develop business cases and define success
- Understanding of what it takes to develop a minimum viable product with a focus on identifying the correct market segment, patient safety, accurate customer expectations, and building a roadmap towards a fully supported product
- Excellent in Jira and Confluence skills
- Proven track record of success in new product design and development
- A proven track record of developing products that improve workflow efficiency and profitability for pharmacy and provider customers
- Experience with Agile development and scrum teams
