Job Description:

Mattel is looking for an Associate Manager, Global Brand Marketing (AMM) to step in and help manage the Disney-Pixar Cars team. This is an exciting time to join the team, as this beloved, 15+ year-old franchise will be releasing new content on Disney+ in Fall 2025. In this role, you will be working alongside the Marketing Manager to develop a global brand strategy and product line that maintains Cars as the #2 brand in the vehicles category, while supporting a key licensor relationship for the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage brand P&L to deliver a product portfolio that achieves financial targets.
• Lead global business reporting and analysis.
• Develop a global product line, from concept to shelf, in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional partners.
• Monitor key trends, brands and competitors’ performance globally.
• Assist in gaining buy-in to global product strategies at all levels, as well as executional commitment from internal partners to activate across key markets and key lines of business.
• Ensure all marketing projects are supported by business strategy, objectives and insights.
• Act as point of contact for brand inquiries and dissemination of brand information and assets.
• Cultivate relationship with our partners at Disney and Pixar while stewarding one of their most popular franchises.
• Communicate marketing and product strategies by developing and confidently delivering presentations to key internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Confident presenting in front of large groups
• Highly organized, independent and detail-oriented with strong follow up skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset & self-starter
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid, collaborative relationships
• Product development experience a plus
• Strong time management, planning and project execution skills
• 4+ years (2 year with MBA) experience in marketing
