You’ll provide detailed risk based recommendation outcomes to management covering all areas of economic crime. Within other organisations this activity is usually managed by the 2nd line of defence however this role sits within the 1st line and we have delegated decision making.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to identify shortcomings, then suggest and assist in the implementation improvements to existing business practices.
  • Proven ability working within an Economic Crime team.
  • Ability to analyse key themes using data from multiple sources, identify possible impacts on the business and make risk based recommendations to more senior colleagues.
  • Partner management skills, to participate and occasionally lead important business relationship calls with support/guidance from more senior colleagues within the team.
  • Track record of taking ownership of personal development and sharing knowledge across a team.
  • Experience in the implementation of risk management processes while ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Experience and technical knowledge in an Economic Crime Prevention role.
  • Track record in coordinating work in order to achieve expectations and follow established timelines.
  • Experience of providing appetite recommendations on potential risks
