Job Description: The role sits within the Chase Strategy and Capabilities Analytics function, which specializes in analyzing the effectiveness of key front-line technology and emerging capabilities for bankers. This role manages data science and strategy in the Virtual Branch. The ideal candidate must be able to operate in a collaborative environment and will require you to engage with a wide variety of partners to socialize and move forward all Sales initiatives. Job Responsibilities: Profile, wrangle, and prepare data from diverse sources to support analytical efforts. Write data transformation logic in languages such as Python, SAS, or Scala. Develop statistical models and designs controlled experiments to test ideas and validate hypotheses Business case development, opportunity sizing, experimental design for test initiatives Use data analysis techniques to develop insights that lead to new recommendations presented to management Develop advanced analytics using an assortment of modeling methods, algorithms and techniques, e.g., predictive modeling, text mining, statistical forecasting and analysis, optimization, and simulation modeling Assignment rules for how to assign customers to a banker Develop the roadmap and execution of strategic initiatives Support partnership with key Stakeholders with strong understanding of underlying data Job Requirements: Problem-solving skills are essential. Must be able to think outside the box to implement creative solutions that solve business problems. Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to work and collaborate with internal and external partners. Bachelors with 5+ years' experience in a quantitative or related discipline or Masters or PhD in a related field Demonstrated ability to define business KPIs and establish measurement frameworks Knowledge of SAS or Scala, and R or Python languages 6+ years of experience with analysis supporting an operating line of business, financial services experience preferred 5+ years of experience with SAS or SQL Practical knowledge of advanced statistical techniques, predictive modeling, time series forecasting, text mining, Machine Learning Job Details: Company: JPMorgan Chase & Co.
