Job Description: The Manager, External Reporting leads the Company’s external financial reporting processes, provides expertise in technical accounting, manages the relationship with the Company’s external auditors, leads the due diligence, valuation, accounting, and consolidation efforts related to Company mergers & acquisitions, and oversees the accounting and analysis of share-based awards and other equity activity. Job Responsibilities: Equity Accounting and Analysis – Oversees the preparation of basic, diluted, and adjusted earnings per share (EPS) calculations including plans and forecasts. Reviews journal entries, account reconciliations, and other analysis for share-based awards and other equity activity. External Auditor Liaison – Manages the relationship with the Company’s external auditors. Oversees the administration of auditor requests and inquiries during quarterly reviews and annual audits and ensures effective and timely communication of material matters to the Director, Financial Planning & Reporting, the VP, Controller, and other key stakeholders. Mergers & Acquisitions Accounting, Analysis, and Consolidation Leads the due diligence, valuation, accounting, and consolidation efforts related to Company mergers & acquisitions. Oversees the coordination with external valuation specialists to support the valuation of mergers & acquisitions, goodwill, and intangible assets. Supports the Strategic Finance Team with the preparation and review of multi-year financial projections required for valuations. Leads the consolidation of Company subsidiaries in the Oracle EPM system and ensures the proper translation of foreign currencies and elimination of intercompany balances. Manages the relationship with and reviews the work product of the Company’s third party overseas accounting firm that prepares subsidiary general ledgers, reporting, and account reconciliations.
