Job Description:

What you’ll be doing as a Manager Research/Portfolio Analyst:

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with rebalancing and model updates across multiple account types
• Coordinate efforts surrounding elements of hiring and firing third party managers
• Lead process improvements in areas critical to manager research
• Monitor diligence obligations for consistency with compliance and regulatory obligations
• Enhance framework for portfolio construction and investment process managing models with active and passive strategies
• Ensure model portfolios are being managed consistently according to its objectives, guidelines and risks
• Coordinate efforts around the management of multi-asset model portfolios
• Participate in Manager Research responsibilities across a select group of strategies

Job Requirements:

• Ability to interpret and present statistical information and data
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team environment
• A good instinct for global markets, economics and asset classes
• Familiarity with Morningstar, eVestment Alliance, FactSet and Bloomberg
• Experience in portfolio construction with ETF’s and active strategies
• Proficiency in excel and an ability to articulate a message to a broad audience

Qualification & Experience:

The preferred candidate should have at least 8 to 10+ years of knowledge /experience in manager research/due diligence on Separately Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds and ETFs, or history working in a position closely associated with this role. The individual chosen for this position will ultimately oversee planning, development, and execution of processes designed to enhance performance and productivity of the Manager Research Team broadly. Through these efforts, the individual chosen will work in close collaboration with the Head of Manager Research, and other supporting team members. They will also have analytical responsibilities on a select list of managers and be provided with an opportunity to identify new investments that should be highlighted for the platform.
