Job Description: This position is being announced under FEMA's Cadre of On-call Response/Recovery Employee (CORE) Program. This is a temporary appointment in the Excepted Service, not to exceed 2 years, with the option to extend based on workload and funding availability. Veterans Preference does not apply to the CORE selection process. Job Responsibilities: Compiling, reconciling, and correlating a variety of logistics data and other pertinent information. Presenting clear, concise, and well-structured presentations that address the designated issues, including long-range projections and current operating conflicts, requiring persuasive discussion with responsible members or managers in meetings or working groups. Developing, interpreting, reviewing and implementing logistics management policies, standards, procedures, criteria and regulations with a focus on ensuring integration with federal policies, procedures, and goals. Identifying, analyzing, interpreting, and determining the impact of incomplete and changing information affecting logistics operations. Job Requirements: Travel will be required. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card. You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this position. You must successfully pass a background investigation.
