Job Responsibilities: Ensure adequate operational coverage; responsible for scheduling and manpower utilization Marshal aircraft which requires working closely with teammates to ensure a safe path Clean and service cabin interiors, including seatback pockets, cushions, tray tables, overhead bins, cockpit, galley, and the lavatory Schedule and administer local training including new hire training Responsible to management for the coordination of the overall operation within an assigned functional area Transport items between terminals, aircraft and the bag room using belt-loaders, tugs, carts and other equipment Organize work groups and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Conduct Agent observations Perform Station Agent work within the ramp service operation, as required Load and unload baggage and cargo on and off aircraft Maintain supplies and inventory control logs Maintain a safe, dependable and consistent operation Complete administrative duties De-ice aircraft which requires using equipment to apply chemicals/compounds, if applicable Prepare customer correspondence, investigate discrepancies and compile statistical data for reports Job Requirements: Above-average qualities of leadership, initiative, and judgment are essential Minimum Age: 18 Must be able to perform all duties in various weather conditions and time constraints Organization and interpersonal skills are necessary Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language Possess the legal right to work in the United States Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended driver’s license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being eligible for this position Flexible to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed due to operational necessity Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, days off, and be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis Above average attendance preferred Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs.
