Job Description: This Senior Engineer position is a key resource supporting our 'Advanced Application' team within the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) program. This position is critical to installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the new 'advanced applications' that deliver additional customer and operations benefits. Critical projects such as CLFISR, CVR, DER Dispatch, LVM/DSDR, and other more advanced capabilities of the DMS and SCADA systems of key to the overall success of the ADMS Program. Job Responsibilities: Increasingly proficient in practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, preparing and presenting recommendations. Possesses and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures; proficient in technical and analytical competencies necessary to handle assignments of increasing complexity. Demonstrated advancing application of engineering theories and principles. Conducts engineering and related studies; completes non-routine engineering projects with minimal oversight with the ability to independently manage project schedules and interfaces; competent to design, operate and maintain systems with moderate impact on existing systems. Understanding of Power Flows within electrical model. Use both Agile and Waterfall based framework techniques to deliver value. Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities. Contribute to the design, architectural, network, and infrastructure requirements for Advanced Applications within a Distributed Management System (DMS) Job Requirements: In addition to desired degree, 8 years related work experience Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience A Master's degree in engineering will be considered in lieu of the B. S. engineering degree. Masters degree in Power Engineering Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or state registration as a Professional Engineer.
