Job Description:

The role will have opportunities for some remote working, however the candidate should be able to commute into our London office as required. There is also a requirement for occasional travel to our rehoming centres across the country.

Job Responsibilities:

• The successful applicant will proactively record, review and design the infrastructure to agreed standards and methodologies, monitoring systems and problem-solving any degradation of service to deliver an infrastructure that is designed around the needs and aims of Dogs Trust, as well as driving performance improvements and problem solution using new technologies.
• They will also work to create a supportive environment where the Infrastructure staff can feel supported and their opinions valued and where the ServiceDesk team can be confident escalating issues across and remaining part of the solution provided.

Job Requirements:

• To be successful in this role you will have an in depth understanding of IT Services (Networks, On-premise Infrastructure, Cloud infrastructure in Azure/AWS etc), with a broad range of technical infrastructure knowledge and awareness of emerging technologies. You will have experience of identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and issues, with proven success in working closely with business representatives to fully understand and document requirements, managing expectations and negotiating requirements.
