Job Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of Talent Development to join our growing HR organization! In this role, you will lead the global Talent Development team in partnering with HR/internal business leaders to identify, develop, and deliver learning strategies to develop talent across the organization. You will also design and deliver core development programs; including new employee orientation, leadership development programs and career development programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver innovative and engaging learning experiences through a variety of formats; including instructor led (in-person or virtual), social learning, on-demand, micro learning, etc.
  • Lead the global talent development team by providing day-to-day direction, coaching and feedback to ensure optimal performance and organizational impact by delivering against talent development goals and objectives
  • Governance of Dexcom’s Learning Management System. Some duties include; providing direction on how/when training is assigned, level of access for system administrators, guidance to the Global LMS Administrator, manage concerns raised by functional leaders, act as decision maker during the current implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Learn
  • Monitor and report regularly on success of all development programs using Kirkpatrick Model or the like
  • Understands the implications of decisions and actions, including a deep understanding of the overall big picture of the business; able to take an idea from concept to reality.
  • Learning consultant to the business in assessing development related requests to drive prioritization of initiatives, resourcing, and successful delivery of identified learning solutions
  • Evaluate, select and manage third-party vendors relationships

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent in the various Learning Management Systems, preferably SAP Learn
  • 8+ years’ experience in learning and development, ideally focused on manager or leader development
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to identify issues, evaluate problems and formulate an effective course of action
  • Ability to interact effectively with various levels of staff and management and handle difficult situations
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy and project management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of impact measurement
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 3+ years’ experience managing a Talent Development team
