Job Description:
As a Lead Supply Attendant, you will have responsibility for carrying out the normal day to day activities associated with the warehousing and distribution of parts in support of maintenance activities. All operational activities will be performed in accordance with FAA, DOT, and Delta procedures and policies, some of which include the handling of HAZMAT, maintaining shelf life, static sensitive parts, as well as, other aircraft part requirements. The Lead Supply Attendant is responsible for the effective communication with Materiel Management personnel as well as Maintenance personnel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Stay until adequate turnover has been provided to the oncoming shift.
- Front line leadership of a shift or area; maintaining optimum operational performance through assigned personnel; responsible for administrative responsibilities, as well as, operational responsibilities which may include arriving early to tour the area, receive turnover from the previous shift, and make necessary adjustments with your Shift Manager and fellow Leads to begin shift.
- Routine duties include, but are not limited to, parts ordering, receiving, binning, shipping, packaging, maintaining inventory control and integrity.
- Inventory control and integrity includes processing parts changes, managing appropriate inventory levels, managing allocation, and maintaining a neat and orderly operation.
- Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Should possess the ability to meet deadlines with high productivity and accuracy.
- Must be able to read and write English and have a working knowledge of personal computers.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to work in a safe manner and be able to lift up to 80 pounds, utilizing proper equipment or assistance.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must be a team player with focus on customer service.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
