Daltile Jobs – Forklift Operator

Job Description:

Operates the Sit-Down forklift and electric pallet jack to move material and pallets throughout the warehouse while performing the put away operation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Verifies orders for accuracy.
• Labels boxes with packing slip.
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves.
• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping.
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt.
• SPC Check/Pack Checking.
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location.
• Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received.

Job Requirements:

• Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability.
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
