Job Description:
Healthcare Client Partner at Cognizant Technology Solutions will be responsible for managing a specific account or a specific region while aggressively growing business. Candidates should have strong business development focused account management experience, with the ability to manage multiple high-growth accounts in various domains (such as Product solutions, IT and BPO services). The Healthcare CP will partner with the CIO/VPs and vendor management teams and help them identify various opportunities and initiatives that can be off-shored. This Healthcare CP role will play a key role in driving revenues specifically for Cognizant’s payer business. The qualified candidate must reside in either the Virginia Beach, VA. area, Chicago, IL area or in northeastern region of the United States and must be able to travel up to 50 % as needed for business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the onsite project teams and ensure they understand the client environment
- Responsible for Backlog growth – Existing projects + Renewals/Extensions of current projects + Rate Revisions
- Support and drive firm-wide delivery initiatives, as directed
- Understand the client environment, issues, and priorities
- Drive RFPs / Proactive bids w.r.to Renewals, Extensions, Application/Project additions, Application rationalization and modernization
- Manage and grow the Account’s P & L, MIS & Reporting
- Engage with business and technology executives, consult and advise on industry and help define client specific solutions
- Define and improve the go-to-market plans, offerings and value propositions
- Build senior and strategic relationships through delivery excellence
- Manage on-time and on-budget delivery with planned profitability, consistently looking to improve quality and profitability
- Run and Manage RFP process, bid preparation, contract creation and commercial negotiations with clients
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the clients taking the lead in delivery
Job Requirements:
- Strong Healthcare Payer Business Development experience
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced entrepreneurial and highly matrixed organization
- Healthcare payer domain experience is highly preferred
- Experience in IT, Infrastructure, automation, and operations consulting
- 5+ years of experience in Healthcare business domain and understanding of its challenges
- MBA degree (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work in global delivery model
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Experience in formulating creative deals
- Ability to engage in consultative selling
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and work with a client to create timely solutions and resolutions.
- Practitioner in digital services for Healthcare companies
- P & L management experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a client facing role in a consulting firm or an account/engagement management role in the IT professional
- services offshore/outsourcing industry
