Job Description:

Chevron is accepting online applications for the Rotating Equipment Engineer position. This position will ensure all new company owned/contract rotating equipment is designed, procured/contracted within a timely manner and installations are accomplished within Chevron guidelines as well as meeting industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Large portions of the job will focus on optimizing existing rotating equipment, reliability, efficiency, maintenance history, etc. to improve their operation.
• The rotating equipment engineer will act as a liaison between compression/pump vendors and our operations and facilities groups on all related projects.
• The design and optimization of new and existing compressors and large pumps.
• Position will be 10-40% field based with the remaining in an office setting.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in a rotating equipment engineering position is required.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering discipline
• Demonstrated proficiency to analyze, design, specify, install rotating equipment (i.e. pumps, reciprocating compressors, auxiliary systems) using CES and applicable industry codes, with competency level consistent with a minimum of 4-5 years in a rotating equipment engineering position
