Job Description:

Provides technical expertise to translate business requirements into value-added services and cost efficient IT Infrastructure solutions across multiple technologies. Evaluates, develops and drives adoption of new technologies and strategic cloud initiatives. Expertise should include compute, memory, storage, cloud, and network architecture areas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews, designs, and manages complex IT infrastructure and develops scalable enterprise technology strategies across multiple platforms.
• Conducts cross-team training to strengthen technical skills across the division.
• Collaborates with our application and infrastructure teams to understand requirements to develop future systems.
• Drives innovation and new designs that lead to higher efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided to the Bank.
• Keeps current with the latest vendor updates, expansion opportunities, and technology directions, utilized in our environment.
• Drives operational excellence through technical delivery and continuous improvement.
• Leads the development of an infrastructure vision, infrastructure architecture and roadmap, researching best practices, and assessing solution options.
• Working closely with our various cross-functional teams, drives hardware selection and standardization efforts.
• Understands scale out architecture to design and manage performance analysis and expectations for new storage, memory, and network systems.
• Develops partnerships with our core technology partners and maintains necessary requirements for certifications.

Job Requirements:

• Able to make recommendations for solving complex project and business problems by using independent judgment to identify and analyze situations, establish responsive objectives and actions, and apply objective project assessment.
• Excellent project management skills. Must be able to perform highly complex analyses, organize and conceptualize new ideas, and interpret applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and effectively execute multiple high-priority projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), Network and Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Virtualization platforms, Cloud-enabled XaaS services delivery models (Private, Public, Hybrid), and enterprise collaboration technologies
• Ten (10) years of hands-on experience in designing and delivering enterprise IT capabilities
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills, including the ability to establish and sustain successful working relationships with senior management, business owners, project management, and technology.
• Ten (10) years of experience working in a bank or financial services firm is preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and with consultants.
