Job Description: American Cruise Lines is seeking Mates for our growing fleet sailing unique itineraries along inland and coastal waterways of the East Coast, Pacific Northwest, Columbia-Snake Rivers and Mississippi-Ohio-Cumberland Rivers. Our U.S. flag ships are state-of-the art designed for safe operation and five-star service to 100-200 guests. Job Responsibilities: Teamwork with Hotel Officers and Service Crew ensuring five-star guest service Safety and Security of the passengers, crew and vessel Comprehensive daily inspection of all vessel interior and exterior spaces Execution of Vessel cleaning, sanitation, maintenance, and logistics Supervision and Development of Jr Mates, Engineers, and Deckhands Prudent vessel watch keeping and safe vessel operations, adhering to company and regulatory standards Execution of Crew orientation, training, watch standing, and emergency drills Administrative documentation of cleaning, sanitation, maintenance, and logistics Leadership of safe, secure, clean, and comfortable onboard environment for passengers and crew Job Requirements: Excellent communication skills and team-building skills Pre-employment drug test and continual participation in random testing U.S. Coast Guard Mate’s license: minimum 100T, desired license 1600T Mate experience on coastal and river waterways: minimum 2yrs, desired 5yrs with Z-drive experience Basic marine engineering knowledge of diesel machinery, hydraulics, and liquid load management Job Details: Company: American Cruise Lines Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Orlando, FL, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacanciesforyou.net
