Job Description: EU Amazon Transportation Services’ ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person as an Process Improvement Expert to help develop a world class middle mile process that delivers goods on time at the best cost. This role can be based virtually across the EU, but with a home site in one of our EU Sort Centers across UK, Spain, France, Germany, or Italy. Job Responsibilities: Contributes to strategic goals, roadmap and plans (through OP1 and OP2) through idea identification and scoping in close collaboration with the network, within the OP timelines. Leads network level medium ($2.5-5M) complex initiatives independently by designing and implementing systems, metrics and programs that maximize compliance, productivity and continuous improvement. Leads projects and opportunities across the Operations (FCs, Sortation, logistic centers, Supply Chain, Transportation, Engineering ...) that are business critical, and may be global in nature. Drives and leads mindful discussions with numerous cross-functional business and technology teams through ideation, planning and execution including Supply Chain and EU Sort center leaders, Sort Tech, TOM, ROC and operational SMEs. Demonstrates robust Project Management and reporting skills to drive the delivery of results and project compliance. Develops clear mechanisms to pro-active identifying and preventing project delays by following the correct escalation process when required. Structures and develops implementation plans and works with Ops leaders to pilot and test new solutions and then roll-out across the broader Ops organization at country/cross-country and/or cross regional level. Supports the operations and business teams in adhoc requests and operational issues with the knowledge of the network. Job Requirements: Proven progressive responsibility in warehouse operations, logistics, or related field. Highly analytical and comfortable with large analyses. Experience across the full project lifecycle – analysis, design, and implementation. Demonstrable mathematic and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment. MBA and work experience in technical field is highly desired Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, engineering, or other technical field (or higher, e.g. MBA) or 3+ years Amazon experience.
