Job Description:
We are hiring for a Senior Product Manager to join the Amazon Music Stations team to work on the cutting edge of technology and create great listening experiences. In this highly visible role, you will have two key responsibilities: leading product operations for stations function, and creating and owning the product roadmap for the stations selection team.
Job Responsibilities:
- As product operations lead you will run our Voice of the Customer program, be the first line of defense for customer-facing issues
- Leverage internal tools to fix such issues in the short and long term; support hottest new music releases and incoming requests from global business teams like programming; and use internal and external data to identify opportunities that make it easier for our customers to have out of this world listening experiences.
- You will also provide reporting, analyze data, make sense of the results and be able to explain what it all means to key stakeholders – ranging from VPs and product managers to engineers and marketers.
- As product lead for stations selection you will shape the roadmap and feature delivery for the systems that power content selection for Amazon Music stations, and other future experiences.
- You will work with engineering, product, and curation teams to create features which scalably choose the best music from a catalog of millions for stations.
- You create simple and time-saving scalable processes that help your product and engineering teams meet their goals more efficiently and effectively.
- You love working with data, can create clear and effective reports and data visualizations, and can partner with customers to answer key business questions.
- You will own and/or influence the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
- 1+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
- Passion for marrying customer experience with deep learning systems
- Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Consumer product experience with a focus on mobile/software applications
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
