Job Description:
This is a Senior IT Project Manager role with responsibility and accountability for leading AECOM’s digital transformation efforts in implementing multiple IT project initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages issues, risks, and changes using appropriate and agreed upon processes and tools established within the AECOM PMO.
- Identifies resources needed to complete work and collaborates with resource manager(s) to assemble appropriate skills/teams.
- Responsible and accountable for delivering large projects on-time, on budget, and meeting functional and quality specifications.
- Forecasts, manages, and reports on project financials, planned vs actual project schedule, and resource utilization.
- Provides weekly status reports and can communicate to executive leadership.
Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of various technologies including infrastructure (server, storage, networking), applications, cloud technologies, information security, and databases.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at various stages of completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline plus 10 years of relevant IT project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including at least 2 years of leadership experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Cloud experience a bonus, including moving technologies to the cloud.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suites of products, (i.e. Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- MBA or related advanced degree
- Strong facilitation skills; communicates effectively with the project team and the business to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions as required.
- Project Management Certification (CAPM or PMP) a plus
