Job Description: The Application Architect/Analyst will identify and define technical solutions for small projects independently and work under the guidance of Senior Application and Enterprise Architects on larger projects. Individuals in this job work with subject area and project teams to ensure architectural designs are understood and being implemented throughout the project. Job Responsibilities: Identify opportunities for asset reuse, architectural simplification and consistency Perform a Technical Design Lead role when necessary. Attend technical conferences or educational opportunities to maintain knowledge on industry best practices. Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy. Coordinate on technical application strategy, Understand third party vendor constraints and commitments. Define a technical solution for small- to medium-sized projects, typically involving third-party vendor solutions with complex configuration, interface, integration and/or customization needs. Work with the Business to understand and identify the business problem or need. Identify an optimal platform/environment for the solution, Identify an optimal design and implementation of the solution while keeping Service Level Agreements in mind Provide support to the Subject Area/Project teams to ensure high level design has been followed through implementation. Job Requirements: In-depth understanding of current business processes, and able to participate in accommodating future business needs, A combination of post-high school education, job related certification and related experience equivalent to 5 years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements Strong understanding of FirstBank’s information architecture, Typically requires a bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
