Job Description: The Mortgage Loan Closer I is responsible for reviewing executed loan packages for accuracy and completeness. They are also responsible for funding the loan. The Mortgage Loan Closer I is also responsible for completing post-closing audits and issuing post consummation closing disclosures. Job Responsibilities: Confirms all applicable wait periods have been met prior to funding. Ensures file and documents meet all applicable bank and compliance requirements. Completes post-close audits of recently funded loans. Completes a minimum of 8 files per day. Issues post consummation-closing disclosures within the allotted SLA. Verifies the following information is correct, but not limited to: subject property address, wire information, insurance policy information, all fees, & the correct set-up of any impounds. Communicate and respond to internal customers within 2 hours. Verifies and inputs loan information accurately into loan origination system. Confirms all prior to funding conditions have been satisfied. Job Requirements: Ability to maintain high levels of performance, especially in stressful situations. Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment. Minimum 1 year recent closing/funding experience H.S. Diploma Minimum 1 year basic computer experience (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Loan Origination systems. Strong knowledge of federal/state regulatory policies and procedures.
