Job Description:

We welcome all Distribution or Transmission Journeyman Level Lineman or Serviceman who are active and passive in their job search to apply to this General Interest requisition.

Job Responsibilities:

• In this requisition, you will be able to express interest in Journeyman Level Lineman or Serviceman positions within the Texas and/or the New Mexico locations. Job Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• To be considered at the Journeyman level, must possess a Journeyman Lineman Certification that is approved by the Department of Labor.
• Position could possibly require travel for extended time periods
• Must successfully score on the Behavioral Assessment
• Must be available for emergency call-outs as per a schedule.
• Valid Class A CDL driver’s license including a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Must have effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with bucket trucks, digger derricks, trenchers and groundwork with utility line crew required
• Must be capable of performing all aspects of electric distribution overhead, underground, construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift objects up to 90 pounds, pass a physical examination and be able to perform strenuous physical labor under all types of conditions.
