Job Description:
The Commercial Risk Modeling team is seeking an Analytic Consultant 5 to focus on implementation, execution, and analytics of models for Commercial portfolios to support stress testing (CCAR/DFAST), allowance calculation (CECL and IFRS9), and business loss forecasting. This position joins a high functioning, high profile team and requires strong programming and analytics skills; ability to understand loss forecasting models; possess organizational and prioritization skills; as well as strong attention to detail. This role is highly dynamic and will require critical thinking and a tactical approach to problem solving.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishing strong controls and creating consistent and robust execution processes across models
- Developing analytics around model results for enhancing forecast performance
- Coherently supporting analyses to a variety of audiences, including end users, management, regulators, and review groups
- Implementation of complex CCAR, CECL/IFRS9 modeling environments working with large data sets, advanced statistical models, and SAS/other coding to effectively and efficiently execute models for purposes including stress testing, allowance calculations, and loss forecasting
- Maintaining documentation for key implementation processes across the team with focus on standardization of implementation and execution controls
Job Requirements:
- Experience with data and analytics across multiple product classes, systems, and organizations
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to identify issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
- Expertise in SQL and SAS programming
- 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
